Wait for me!!

Man I hate playing catch-up!

Alright, so I started the gym again!  I’m really excited to be going again!

Today my work out consisted of 15 minutes of walking on the treadmill, stretch, another 15 minutes of walking.  Elliptical for 15 minutes.  And then and intermitten run/walk for 20.

I felt so AWESOME to be running!  Especially on my first day back.  But I tell you what, I just had a really good song going that kind of gave me a burst of adrenaline during the chorus.  (All American Rejects-Gives you hell).

So here’s the update, you ready?  Who wants to take a vote?

Wha…what?!  I ONLY gained 2.2 lbs in ALL that time that I ate like crap and did NOTHING?!  ROCK ON!

Seriously, I ate like crap, and was pretty much sedentary for a month..ish?  I guess it’s all about how much you eat, and how you use that energy huh?

OH!  Here’s a new thing that I’m going to start trying to do.  I’m going to make video blogs!  Won’t that be cool?  I’ll just set up a new pages called “Video” or something and just update now and then on the videos!

Ok, I should get to bed.  I’m planning on going to the gym before work, which means I’ll be there around 6 AM.  OH LORD!

Ok, so that’s all for now.  I’m about to hop in the shower, and take a pic of my weight since I started going to the gym again.  This is going to be maintained better, and more frequently!

Life is good

So here I am in Pennsylvania, just kicking back and relaxing.  I’m enjoying spending time with my brother, sister-in-law and my niece.  I’m also enjoying the fact that I don’t have to do a damn thing.  No work, no work-outs, just me and my thoughts.

Now that  I think about it, my thoughts and I rarely ever get along.  So here I am to update all my dear readers.

I got in Monday at around 1 or so, my flight from Detroit to Philly was delayed.  So I get here, and I take a little nap because the guy I sat next to on the plane wouldn’t shut up.  Don’t get me wrong, that’s one of the reason I love flying, I love meeting new people and what better way to meet someone new than to be smooshed against them for a few hours?  But this guy was a little nutty.  He was 22 years old and an MP in the army.  Which was great, yay him for defending our country and all.  He just seemed to be the exact kind of guy I normally did my best to avoid all throughout high school and pretty much my entire life.  Loud, and used the “F” word a lot.  Quoted a lot of comedians and tried to pass them off as his own.  I even called him on it.  He was entertaining to say the least.  Can’t even remember his name.

Tuesday I’m pretty sure I just hung out around the house all day, watched Maya, and watched TV.  Micah and I went to Barnes and Noble later that night while Leah was at work.  I got 3 books.  Two of which don’t seem to be any good.  Oh well.  Is there a refund policy on books?

Wednesday we went to the Zoo!!!  I loved it!  I will definately have pictures up when I get home!

And then there’s tonight.  I took a nap because watching Maya watch Barney is darn tiresome!  After I woke from my nap Leah and I went out and got a chance to bond.  We got tattoos!  This was my first one and I was scared to death!  Well, sort of.  I was nervous lol.  But the guy who did my tattoo was SO nice, and super funny.  He was just great and did a wonderful job!  And I thought he was kind of cute.  But he was married, of course!  That’s always the case for me now.  They’re married, or have babies, whatever.  But still, he was super nice.  I do love my tattoo.  Firefly fans should know this.  I got the words “You can’t take the sky from me” in script and it has little fireflies around it.  It’s SOOO cute!  Again, pics will be uploaded soon!

I really don’t want to go home tomorrow.  I’ve just been so peaceful here.  That’s not to say that my homelife isn’t peaceful.  It’s just, I don’t have to worry about bills, or work, or cleaning lol.  Well, I better head off of here.  It’s 1:30 am!  Wish me a safe travel home!
